Metallica’s Kirk Hammett struggles with a St Anger riff

I'm not sure about you, but personally I go through bouts of thinking everything I play sounds like crap, to the point where I start asking myself have I ever been able to play anything, or have I been deluding myself.

I had one of those moments tonight. I was playing the guitar, and it sounded like I'd thrown my iPod in a blender and was taking a dump in the refrigerator.

That's why I was glad that I stumbled across this video of Metallica's Kirk Hammett struggling to pick up one of the riffs from the St Anger album. It's comforting to know that even some of the best musicians struggle every now and then... some of the captions are kind of funny as well ;)
