Tom Morello’s guitar gear
Whether you like his style of music or not, there is no denying that when it comes to guitar, Tom Morello is one creative dude! His tone ranges from crunchy rhythm, to something more akin to a turntable. Now that it looks as though Rage Against the Machine is getting it back together, he’s sure to knock out some more of the same.
Here’s a picture of his pedal board:

I also dug out an old scan of Tom Morello’s rig from an old copy of Guitar World magazine. For the crazy sounds he pulls, it’s actually a pretty straight forward setup.

Hey, the pic of the setup from Guitar World is too hard to read. Do you think you could type up what it says? I’m planning on building a Les Paul similar to his. Thanks.

Hi Tom,
I posted a close up pic here, so you can read the pedal and guitar info:

Looks like his custom les paul is stock with the only unsual thing about it being the tuning, drop B, and the lower gauge string used on the drop b string.
