Trent Reznor With Teeth era Interview
For the audiophile and NIN fan, an invitation to visit Nothing Studios and sit down with Trent Reznor to get an insight into the recording process, would be the absolute dream gig. Unfortunately for me, this interview with Reznor posted on Audiohead.net will probably be the closest I get to living the dream!
The interview was conducted around the time Reznor was putting the finishing touches on With Teeth. Not surprisingly, Reznor is a big fan of a lot of the Native Instruments gear.
“I find that exciting from a sound design point of view —new ways to treat things, ways to evoke emotions out of certain things, †he explains. “At the top of my list would be pretty much everything Native Instruments makes. From Reaktor to Vokator and Battery for drums. I’ve messed around with Kontakt a bit and Absynth is great.â€
Whether or not your a hardcore NIN, someone with little more than a passing interest in the band, or someone interested in the recording process, then I'm sure you'll find the interview of interest!
